Put Your Best Brain Forward
Tuesday, June 22, 2021 • 12 Tammuz 5781
7:30 PM - 8:30 PMVia ZoomHow do we keep our brains healthy as we age?
Just like we make time to go to the gym to strengthen our muscles and keep our bodies as healthy and strong as possible, we also need to give our brains regular exercise to fight normal cognitive changes that come with aging in order to optimize our cognitive abilities. Join Lynn Breuer, LMSW, CHC, CDP and Joely Lyons, LLMSW for a fun, informative and interactive presentation on the aging brainโs health and wellness, including a discussion of lifestyle factors that impact brain health as well as an update on the most recent non-pharmacological interventions. Youโll also have the opportunity to learn about and try evidence informed cognitive training exercises.
Learning Objectives This course will help participants:
โข Understand normal, age-related changes to our cognition
โข Recognize the importance of lifestyle factors that impact brain health
โข Identify 6 key cognitive domains
