Dor L'Dor Legacy
Dor L'Dor Legacy Campaign - Give Today. Guarantee Tomorrow.
Why give to B’nai Moshe’s Legacy Campaign? Because together we impact the future! This is your opportunity to create a lasting legacy to align your values with the synagogue’s needs.
Dor L’Dor is dedicated to endowing the future of our beloved community and to ensuring that B’nai Moshe will endure for generations to come. We are blessed with the strength and vibrancy needed to face the future. We have the opportunity to secure our sacred and special place for our children and grandchildren.
A legacy gift creates the opportunity to keep Jewish commitment and values strong. There are many ways to give to Dor L’Dor. Simply include Congregation B’nai Moshe in your estate planning, either by designating a dollar amount, a particular asset, or a percentage. All legacy gifts, regardless of size, make a meaningful difference. And in many cases do not cost you a single penny during your lifetime.
This year, B’nai Moshe celebrates it’s 110th year serving the metro-Detroit community. From Detroit to Oak Park to West Bloomfield we have been here for you. Won’t you please help us continue to be a part of your children’s and grandchildren’s lives?
Many donations to B’nai Moshe are exempt from gift and estate taxes and may even have capital gains and income tax benefits. Please consult with your tax advisor.
Ways to give include:
BEQUEST IN YOUR WILL OR TRUST
- An easy way to leave a legacy.
IRA OR PENSION PLAN
- Designate B’nai Moshe as the beneficiary to all or part of your retirement plan, such as an IRA or 401k.
- Are you 70 ½ or older? There are benefits for income tax savings with IRA charitable giving.
LIFE INSURANCE
- Consider naming B’nai Moshe as a beneficiary of an existing policy.
- Allows you to pledge a generous gift in the future with an affordable donation today. This is especially attractive to younger donors.
These are only a few of the opportunities for giving and, in most cases, can be done at no cost to you while you are alive, however gives you the chance to make a lasting gift for future generations. A legacy gift is a promise for a Jewish future. Your loving act of a bequest or planned gift permanently endows the congregation to secure its well-being for this and future generations. It is your chance to thoughtfully determine how you want to be remembered.
You can make a testamentary gift to Dor L'Dor by completing one simple form informing us of your intent. It really is just that simple. Here is what the form looks like:
