Shabbat Prayers
Learn the Prayers of Shabbat
Do you come to Shabbat services but still feel a little uncomfortable with the prayers? Perhaps they sound familiar but you find yourself listening rather than davening along. Here is your opportunity to familiarize yourself with the prayers chanted during Shabbat morning services, provided by our Ritual Team Leader, Marc Sussman. Marc has provided individual recordings of different parts of the service so you can better familiarize yourself with them. The recordings below only include the parts that the prayer leader sings aloud. They can usually be found in the siddur with a small diamond shape at the beginning of the line.
Listen a few times and you'll find yourself singing along in no time. Who knows, maybe one day you'll volunteer to lead services. Click Here to view our Siddur Tefillah L'Moshe

Join B'nai Moshe Sisterhood for a virtual event to support Torah Fund on Sunday, April 18 from 11am - 12:30pm. The event will include Rabbi Michael Ungar reflecting on his time at the Jewish Theological Seminary and the support he received from Torah Fund. Also included is a text based discussion of the mind/body/spirit connection and a 30-minute workout with a Jewish Twist including exercise options that allow everyone to participate. After 25 years as a congregational rabbi, Michael followed his passion for fitness training and became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2018. The cost is an $18 contribution to JTS and includes a free session to one of Rabbi Ungar's online fitness classes. B'nai Moshe donors to Torah Fund at the Benefactor Level ($180) or higher may attend free of charge and will receive the distinctive 2020-2021 Torah Fund pin, which honors the theme "B'Yachad" meaning "together." It signifies the joy of Sisterhood members working together year-round to make important contributions to the Jewish community through their volunteer efforts.
