Ethics Through the Lens of Torah

These classes will be based on a combination of examining texts, possible guest speakers, and fun and engaging conversations. We will set out on a mission to ensure that the Torah remains a Tree of Life that enriches all of our lives as we discuss and study these important issues of the world, we all share.

We will examine several different subjects that may include the following among others:

  • Jewish Ethical Approaches
  • Beginning of life (Surrogacy, Cloning, designer DNA‚Ķ)
  • Whistle blowing and standing up for what is right (At what cost?)
  • Incarceration (what does it do? Who does it serve?)
  • Business Ethics
  • Environmental Ethics
  • Food Ethics
  • Abortion

The $18 fee is per household.
