Developing OUR Zionism in the 21st Century
Tuesday, February 14, 2023 • 23 Shevat 5783
7:30 PM - 9:00 PMZoomJoin Rabbi Kantor for 6 Classes discussing the ideas and principles of Zionism in the 21st century.
Covering topics such as:
โข What is the importance of building an ideal society based on an idea, a north-star organizing principle? Can we see Zionism as a project of the Jewish peopleโs collective imagination โ what would that look like?
โข Are we obligated to be in a relationship with Israel? If so โ what has that relationship looked like? What can it look like? Is it a healthy relationship?
โข Israel is the place that allows the Jewish people to shape its own story and to heal from the traumas of Jewish history. How does this idea manifest in Israeli life and politics? What are its consequences?
Meets Jan. 10, 17, 24, 31 and Feb 7, 14
