SISTERHOOD & YOU
The new year for Sisterhood is about to begin. By now you should have received your membership statement. Take a moment to send in your check for $30 made out to Sisterhood of Congregation B’nai Moshe. We are striving for 100% participation this year. Sisterhood will have something for everyone in every age group.
We will begin with our wonderful Paid–up Membership Dinner on Tuesday, September 16th. Mark the date - click to see the invitation.
We are in the process of planning exciting programming for the upcoming year and will announce the events in this column throughout the year. It is important to us that Sisterhood programming meets your needs. We still have some slots to fill and would like your suggestions. If you have some ideas for programs or outings you would like to see, please call or email Annette or Ruth. Maybe you have a skill or knowledge that we could build a program around. We are also still looking for an overall chair for programming to brainstorm with us and fill a Board position. Let us know if you are interested.
As always, Sisterhood needs you to help with our many endeavors. We need helpers in all areas of preparing the weekly Shabbat Kiddush, including prep during the week, shopping and set-upon Shabbat. We will need helpers for Break Fast, the Paidup Membership Dinner, Holiday Bazaar, Purim Package packing, Mahjong instructor, mailings and more. Call or email Annette or Ruth today.
What if your busy schedule will not permit you to help out or attend a program this year? Should you still join Sisterhood? Most definitely!! Your dues will help support the many important services we provide both at our Synagogue and in the community.
