Mishpacha Achat Update

On Tuesday, November 26, B'nai Moshe members Jeff and Cindy Diskin and Len and Ann Wanetik met with Korin Ben Aroya, mother of our Mishpacha Achat family, and Batya Weintraub (representing Mishpacha Achat) at the Inbal hotel in Jerusalem. Korin’s sister-in-law, Sigalit, was also present.

At that time, a check for more than $7,000 was presented to the falmily as well as gifts for Sherry, 20, Hila, 13, and Elad, 9. Korin was also presented with a Chanukah gift of a scarf.

We hope that our B'nai Moshe membership will, on its own and through friends and neighbors, continue to raise funds for this family, our family.

Because of Sherry’s paralysis on her right side and need to use a wheelchair, the family recently moved into a larger apartment with wider doors. This, of course, put additional strains on their budget.

In addition to raising funds, B'nai Moshe is planning to establish regular communications with Korin and her children.

We thank everyone who has contributed for the wonderful outpouring of support for Mishpacha Achat and look forward to a continued connection between B’nai Moshe and the Ben Aroya family.

If you wish to help us support the Ben Aroya family, please make out a check with One Family on the memo line, and send it to:
